Little Smarties Learning Lab was established from the dream of Ms. Marsha Michelle Martin, a twenty-year plus veteran to the field of Early Childhood Education. This dream relied heavily on educating Children, their families and educators. Through this dream, the Marshamichelle Consultant Group was born. Ms. Martin continues to provide educational services for community based Early Childhood Programs, Educators, Children and their familes throughout the city of Chicago and surrounding Suburban areas. Ms. Martin has performed various jobs inside the field of Early Childhood such as: Teacher Assistant, Teacher, Education Cordinator, Disabilities Manager, Education Manager, Site Director, and Associate Director of Early Childhood Programs. Currently, Ms. Martin works as a Kindergarten Teacher for Chicago Public Schools. With the experiance from all of the postions held by Ms. Martin, a wealth of knowledge has been captured and is available for anyone that desires to work with her to obtain coaching or instruction needs for individuals or staff.

Education is a priority for Ms. Martin, earning a Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Family Studies, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction with a minor in Adult Education, a certification in Early Childhood Special Education and a Professional Educators License in Early Childhood for the state of Illinois. A proud Alumni of both Chicago State University and The University of Illinois at Chicago for her educational endeavors, Ms. Martin is a firm believer of giving back to the community of Early Childhood Education for supporting her dream of being an educator.
